Executive Director - Carol W. Cecil

  • Find continued funding for operating and program costs of KPFC
  • Ensure that the project is in compliance with grant and contractual requirements
  • Work with the Board of Directors, specifically Board Chair and Executive Committee, to make decisions concerning KPFC (i.e. logistics and agendas for board meetings, action alert strategies, policy and procedure, budget allocation, and other areas as necessary).
  • Represent KPFC on all appropriate committees and provide leadership at state level in creating alliances with other providers, state agencies, and organizations.
  • Attend national conferences that pertain to KPFC’s interests and funding
  • Manage and oversee budget
  • Follow fiscal procedure to ensure that KPFC’s financial liabilities are attended to
  • Provide direct supervision to office support staff and program coordinator

Program Coordinator - Kate Overberg

  • Handle all resource calls on the parent resource line and any e-mails regarding resource information
  • Research and report findings regarding various disabilities and organizations for parents and professionals
  • Supervise Web Site Technician-Will Wade
  • Plan and implement all activities and meetings with Youth Council members
  • Host exhibit tables at conferences across the state
  • Assist executive director in attending committee and legislative meetings, etc.
  • Present information about KPFC at various parent support group meetings across the state
  • Handle day-to-day functions of the office in absence of office support staff
  • Assist executive director on projects and programs as appropriate

Office Support Staff - Mary Chicoine Smith

  • Attend to day-to-day functions of the office
  • Handles account payables/receivables
  • Manages office equipment and orders supplies as needed
  • Assists executive director in preparing the budget
  • Procures meeting space, lodging, catering, etc. for board meetings and oversees planning process
  • Takes minutes for all board meetings
  • Set up and maintain databases for office
  • Mail out annual survey to all members and tabulate and compile results of survey
  • Follow fiscal procedure in making purchases for organization
